Carlson Wireless Solar Power Systems Now 45% More Efficient with New 12v to 48v PoE.

As a leader in energy efficient wireless communications for rural and remote applications Carlson Wireless announced the integration of a new Power over Ethernet (PoE) device into our solar powered wireless product line increasing system efficiency by up to 45%.
Benefits include:
- Increased solar system run times
- Reductions in required solar panel size
- Elimination of inverters
- Increase in powered cable length
Designed for remote locations, Carlson Wireless’ solar power kits integrate with Carlson’s Trailblazer and LongHaul microwave backhaul radios which already directly monitor the performance of the radio and solar equipment through data throughput, temperature and voltage readings — sending e-mail alerts at customer-set thresholds to communicate problems before failure occurs.
