Carlson Wireless Technologies to Exhibit at the Pacific Telecom Council Conference 2010 in Oahu, Hawaii, January 17-20
Arcata, CA, January 10, 2010: Carlson Wireless Technologies (CWT) of Arcata, California will be exhibiting at this year’s Pacific Telecom Council Conference (PTC 2010) on January 17 – 20. For over a decade CWT’s wireless microwave broadband and telephone systems have been deployed in numerous Pacific Rim countries to meet the unique challenges of connectivity in remote and rural communities for telephony, Internet, telemedicine, distance learning, equipment monitoring and control applications.
CWT will be exhibiting its newly developed, powerful and flexible SWiFT (Synchronous WiFi Technology) microwave radio platform, designed for high throughput of IP/TDM traffic at long distances to provide wireless broadband and telephony solutions for industry, utilities, government and public safety customers worldwide. The SWiFT platform features low power requirements making it the system of choice for solar and wind powered locations.
Carlson Wireless’ Trailblazer and LongHaul products will be on display at the “PTC Pavilion” for hands-on demonstration. Also available will be information regarding the TRC-4 Steerable Antenna due for production in Q1 2010. Carlson products are available in a wide range of frequencies including 700 MHz, 900 MHz, 2.3 GHz, 2.4 GHz, 2.5 GHz, 3.65 GHz, 4.9 GHz, 5.x GHz and 6.0 GHz.
