Wireless Links for Industrial Phone and Intercom Systems
The Trailblazer™ MineConnect is designed to provide a wireless link for numerous industrial and emergency phone products including Gai-Tronics' Femco and Guardian phones. This eliminates the need for wirelines in many challenging above ground and underground mining and industrial applications. The MineConnect enables reliable, easy and inexpensive installation and relocation of phones in rough terrain and harsh environments. The MineConnect operates in the 2.4 and 5.x GHz bands and is available in point to point and point to multipoint configurations with range beyond 40 miles.

Rugged and Weatherproof
MineConnect terminals are housed in a rugged NEMA 4X waterproof enclosure, built to last in industrial environments. Class 1 Div 1 enclosures also available.
Flexible Platform
Offers a direct phone line interface, no channel bank required. Provides transparent network interface, supporting all PTSN and IP services with Carrier Class/wireline quality of service. multi-line and multipoint configurations are also available.
Long Range
Distances beyond 40 miles can be achieved with proper antennas. Repeater capacity further allows you to extend this range and overcome obstacles.
Power Consumption
Trailblazer™ systems draw very low power, typically less than 3 watts per CPE terminal at 12 volts, making them ideal for solar power operation. Trailblazer™ systems accept any DC voltage from 12 volts to 24 volts. Solar power kits are available with up to 7 days of integrated battery backup power.
Private and Secure
Fully encrypted, spread spectrum CDMA modulation assures complete privacy.
Frequency Band
Uses a multi-frequency radio operating in the unlicensed 2.4 GHz and 5.4, 5.8 GHz bands. Also available in the licensed 4.9 GHz Public Safety Band.
